INTRODUCTION
We celebrate many important days in our country. These days gave the valuable information to us. Some of the important days are Independence Day, Republic Day, Teachers day and New Year etc.
· INDEPENDENCE DAY
Independence Day, is actually observed on 15 August as a national holiday in Indian commemorating the nation’s independence from the British Empire on 15 August 1947.India attained Independence following an Independence Movement noted for largely nonviolent resistance and civil disobedience led by the Indian National Congress [INC].

Our college celebrated Independence Day in every year. This year we celebrated Independence Day in 15/08/2016, at 10.00 a.m. The principal of our college, Mrs. Sindhu, hoists the National Flag. She gave the enrichment of valuable information of Nationalism, Patriotism etc.
· TEACHERS DAY
In many countries, Teachers Day is a special day for the appreciation of teachers, and may include celebrations to honor them for their special contributions in particular field area, or the community in general. The data on which Teachers Day is celebrated varies from country to country. Teachers Day in different countries are distinct from world Teachers Day, which is celebrated on 5 October.

Our college celebrated Teachers Day in 5/9/2016, at 10.30.a.m The principal of our college, Mrs.sindhu spoke about the importance of Teachers Day. In our college, other teachers gave the valuable information about the role of teachers, teaching attitudes etc.
· CHILDRENS DAY
In India, children’s Day is celebrated on the 14th November every year. As a tribute children’s Day is celebrated on the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday. Lovingly called ‘chacha nehru’ which means Uncle Nehru by the kids, Jawaharlal Nehru gave emphasis to the significance of giving love and affection to children, who are the bright future of India.

Our college also celebrate this festival every year, for this year we had made all the preparation. November 14th, birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru, was celebrated in our college. The principal was Chief Guest of the programme. The principal spoke about the importance of children’s day.
